Designed to streamline the staining process, it allows for blocking, staining, and rinsing membranes without removing them from the chamber. The chamber measures 7.5cm long by 9cm wide and has a volume of less than 4ml, requiring only 3-4ml of antibody solution to cover the membrane completely.
Constructed from durable cast acrylic, the Immunoblotter offers reliable performance and longevity. It features an easy-to-use design, allowing you to inject the antibody staining solution directly into the chamber using a luer-lock syringe or small pipette tip. A large syringe connects to the injection port, enabling efficient solution transfer through the exit tube into a waste beaker. The unit also comes with skid-proof rubber feet, a drain tube, and an operation manual. Simply clean with warm water and light detergent between uses.
